Why It Matters

The success of the Avon Grove PTA programs is directly dependent on our volunteers.  We have volunteer opportunities and ask parents to contribute as little or as much time as possible.  Many activities can be done outside normal school hours, at home or at school.  Any amount of time that you can volunteer is appreciated and benefits your child as well as the school. Research shows students do better when their families are involved at home and at school. Grades are higher. Test scores rise. Self-esteem grows. Schools improve.
